1. Introduction
Welcome to Golden Escape Travel. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.goldenescape.co.uk) and the booking of any travel arrangements or packages with us. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Booking and Reservations
- Contract: A binding contract is formed once we issue a booking confirmation and receive the required deposit or full payment.
- Accuracy: It is your responsibility to ensure that all details provided at the time of booking (including names matching passports exactly) are correct.
- Pricing: All prices are quoted in GBP (£). We reserve the right to amend prices before a booking is confirmed.
3. Payment Terms
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking.
- Final Payment: The balance of your booking must be paid by the date specified on your confirmation invoice. Failure to pay on time may result in the cancellation of your booking and loss of deposit.
4. Changes and Cancellations by You
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. Cancellation charges will apply and scale up the closer the cancellation is to the departure date.
- Amendments: If you wish to change your booking, we will do our best to assist, subject to availability. Amendment fees and any additional supplier costs will apply.
5. Changes and Cancellations by Us
We strive to provide all travel arrangements as confirmed. However, occasionally, suppliers make changes. We will notify you of any significant changes as soon as possible and provide alternative options or a full refund if a suitable alternative cannot be found.
6. Referral Scheme Rewards
We value our community. If you recommend Golden Escape Travel to someone else, we offer a £30 reward for any successful recommendation. For total transparency, this reward will be paid to you up to 14 days after the referred booking is both confirmed and fully paid (not just at the deposit stage).
7. Travel Insurance, Passports, and Visas
- Insurance: We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
- Documentation: You are entirely responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, necessary visas, and any required health documents for your destination.
8. Liability
We act as an agent for various third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators). Our liability is limited to our own negligence in making the booking. We do not accept liability for the acts or omissions of the third-party suppliers.
